Kasia Kay creates work using a wide range of materials, including metal, handmade paper, paints, clay, photography, neon, and found objects. Travel, culture, and sociopolitical situations inspire her creative processes. Kay’s art explores personal narratives and memories, as well as the implications of history. She is often drawn to introspective content and exploring her sense of identity.
Kasia Kay has studied at Columbia College Chicago and the Chicago Industrial Arts and Design Center. She has completed several artist residencies and international curatorial studies in Germany, Greece, Italy, and the U.S.A. Kay has exhibited in solo and group shows internationally. Her artwork is in private collections in Europe and the U.S.A. The artist has been featured in Artnet News, :arte Venice, Newcity, Chicago Gallery News, Chicago Interiors, The New York Times, and more. Kay currently lives and works in Chicago, USA.
